Goldeneye 007 Reloaded – Bond Is Back In HD

by Yo Snyder

Goldeneye 007 was one of the best games for the Wii last year,
and one of the best first person shooters on the system period. More
than that, it was an amazing game that faithfully captured the spirit of
the classic game while successfully updating it for today’s audiences
(I can probably count on one hand the number of times that’s actually
worked when remaking games). From the awesome updated single-player
campaign that included modern elements and Daniel Craig as James Bond to
the retro, four-player split-screen multiplayer that harkened back to
those halcyon days of early multiplayer matches when you actually had to
invite your friends over to your house to play, Goldeneye 007
for the Wii was just an all-around great game. What’s that you say?
You’re a hardcore gamer and don’t own that kidde console known as Wii
and therefore never had a chance to play that fantastic game? Well worry
not, friends, you’ll get your chance soon enough.

Eurocom
recently announced that they’re bringing one of the best Bond game in
years to the HD consoles with a remastered version of the Wii classic.
That’s right, Goldeneye 007 is getting a make over with some
hi-def graphics, new 16 player online multiplayer, and a few a other
tweaks and surprises as well. One new addition is MI6 Ops; think Call of
Duty’s Spec Op missions, but with many more adjustable settings for
each mission. It all sounds like a lot of fun, it’s looking great and
it’s nice that others will get a chance to experience one of the best
shooters from last year. No release date yet, but we’ll keep you
updated.
